[Hue - Characteristics] - Based on the hue of colours, we are adopting a comprehensive approach that integrates colour science, theory, and strategy. Understanding the hue allows us to harness the psychological and emotional impacts of colours, ensuring effective communication of the concept. Colour science provides the technical knowledge of how colours interact and influence perception, while colour theory offers guidelines for creating
harmonious and impactful palettes.

BICI BOTTEGA + YOU

Your bike isn't a means to our livelihoods, but a canvas where we co-create and showcase artistic creations, Created In Singapore, Each a Masterpiece.

Custom or Bespoke painting your bike is like an extension of yourself — a splash of creativity of you on two wheels. Choose a bold colour, a quirky pattern or a secret motif and watch strangers grin while friends ask where you got it. It’s our tiny rebellion against the ordinary: commutes become mini-adventures and everyday roads become your personal showcase. Put your best creative juice into it —
make your mark and let your bike tell your story.

BICI BOTTEGA + PROCESSES

We have taken long to create our proprietary processes to ensure your commission is created through our uncompromising standard and quality combining craft of paint, colour science, colour theory, Colour strategy and proprietary finishing techniques to deliver a commissioned bicycle. The process is structured into 7 clear phases to ensure consistency, full customer collaboration and rigorous quality control from concept to your first ride.

1. PRJT Budget
A clear project budget ensures your commission stays on track without surprises. Estimates cover design and colour curation, parts and materials, labour for painting and build, quality control and final testing — plus a contingency (typically 10–15%) for unforeseen issues. We work with a staged payment schedule (deposit, progress payment, final payment on delivery) and provide transparent cost breakdowns and approval points for any scope changes. This approach protects quality, manages expectations and keeps your bespoke bike delivered on time and within agreed costs.

2. Design Phase
We translate your brief into concept boards: sketches, Design instructions for frame, forks and decals. We confirm proportions, placement and any bespoke graphics with you before moving to colour selection. All designs are archived and version‑controlled to preserve intent through production.

3. Colour Curation
Our colour specialists curate palettes and surface finishes (gloss, satin, matte, metallic, pearlescent) and provide physical swatches or digital mock‑ups. We test colour behaviour under different light and against selected parts to ensure the final look matches expectation and performs flawlessly.

4. Bike Parts Selection
We specify and source frame‑compatible components and trim—from headsets and seat posts to decals and protective clear coats—ensuring fit, finish and performance alignment with the design. Any component choices that affect paint adhesion or assembly are flagged and resolved up front.

5. Paint Process
Using controlled surface preparation, proprietary priming and precision spraying, we apply base coats, effects and protective clear
coats in a controlled booth. Each stage includes inspection and corrective polish where required. All work follows our documented process controls to deliver durable, even coverage and long‑term paint lustre. Thats why we only use the best automotive grade materials.

6. Bike Build
After final curing and quality inspection, the frame is reassembled with the selected components by our qualified technicians. We perform full mechanical setup, safety checks and a road/test ride (where applicable) to confirm performance and finish integrity. A final QA report and care instructions are provided with every commission.

7. Our Dedication
Every commission follows this workflow to ensure your bike arrives as a cohesive, high‑quality masterpiece that looks and rides exactly as you intended.

In the same light, we seek your respect towards our craft and dedication. No amount of money could excite us. No amount
of money could make us take in a project we don't believe.
